Friends of Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums
About Friends
The Friends of Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums is an enthusiastic group of individuals devoted to providing support and contributions to Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums, its collections and activities. Friends is a non-profit Registered Charity made up of over 700 members world wide. Friends have become a driving force in organising fundraising and activities in the name of Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums making it possible to acquire significant artefacts and art objects that would not have been viable otherwise.
Friends schedule a variety of activities, including exhibition previews, lectures, recitals, guided tours and cultural trips throughout Britain and abroad. These activities help generate funding for Aberdeen Art Gallery & Museums purchases, conservation, restoration work and publications. Becoming a member of Friends is also very affordable and a great present for a friend.
