Award-winning interactive installation recreating the living rooms of seven housebound older people in England and Japan.

Phillip of Spain

A major exhibition bringing together the substantial holdings of John "Spanish" Phillip's work in the City Collections with works borrowed from public and private collections across the country, telling the story of the artist's life and career, including his time as an artist chosen by Queen Victoria to paint royal portraits.

Artworks by children on the theme of families, organised by Family Mediation Scotland.

Coins and notes from centuries past that were used in and around the North-east of Scotland, with remarkable and rarely-seen documents and photographs from the archives of the Halifax Bank of Scotland.
The Catherine Fleming Collection

Aberdeen-based Cath Fleming was a great supporter of the Arts and a skilled collector of ceramics - the Staffordshire figures and chimney ornaments in this exhibition are part of the collection she donated to the City.
Hostess with the Mostest

The emergence of the hostess gown, its precursors and the styles that followed it, with dresses from the Edwardian era to the 1970s.
